graphicsI developed a love of graphic design from magazines and started studying graphic design in college. I studied for three years, mainly doing physical graphic design with some digital, and have continued doing commission work dictated by the clients.
Archives, Collections and Repetitions.
I have always been attracted to graphics from magazines, spending hours in various shops to the point of being recommended to study graphic design from a shop owner. I’ve always collected receipts and been attracted to the graphics on plastic bags, and I bring the mixture of graphics, temporary/archival materials and repetition to my work.
I am so thankful for my time studying physical and digital graphic design at the University of Houston, before I got my degree in sculpture. I feel my eye for both 2D and 3D helps me to have a wide skillset and also I am continually creatively inspired by graphics, collecting receipts and using them in my work. I am continually working with graphic elements, repetitions and archives.
